My name is Chippi Uppoottil and I will be attending the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at University of the Cumberlands coming spring 2023. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. I earned my Bachelors in Kinesiology at Augusta University May 2022.

Choosing the University of Cumberlands was not a tough decision. Not only is it an accelerated and hybrid program, but I have noticed this program has some amazing facilities and staff who are very welcoming and caring to every student.

Also, the class sizes are drastically smaller than most DPT programs. Therefore, each student will have more time to ask questions and raise concerns. This will make it easier for me and many other students to retain the material and prepare for the DPT board exam.

This program is another step to achieving my goal as a successful Physical Therapist who positively impacts every patient that seeks my help physically and emotionally. I am honored to be a part of the first cohort of UC’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. I am very excited to meet my fellow classmates and other UC students coming spring semester. See you guys there!
