Accreditation
University of the Cumberlands is accredited to award Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033 – 404.679.4500 – Fax: 404.679.4558. Interested constituents may contact SACS 1) to inquire about the University’s accreditation status, 2) to file a third-party comment as a part of its decennial review, or 3) to file a complaint alleging non-compliance with a standard or requirement. Any other inquiries, such as those concerning admissions requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be addressed directly to the University and not to the Commission’s office.
