Some new technological wonder seems to surfaces daily in our interconnected, computerized world. It’s more apparent than ever that we live in a tech-driven world.

It’s a world that requires visionary leaders with the right combination of IT, people and professional skills to step into C-level positions and integrate those new wonders while ensuring everything else continues to run smoothly. And those are the kind of skills you can learn and refine with an Executive Doctorate of Philosophy in Information Technology from University of the Cumberlands.

In addition to bolstering your leadership credentials, this program is designed to give you the tools you need to take a 50,000-foot strategic view of your organization’s tech issues without sacrificing your in-depth tactical understanding at the nuts-and-bolts level. From identifying cyber threats to making data-driven policy decisions, you’ll gain the tools you need to lead data science and information technology initiatives, departments and even companies.

Your 60-credit-hour program begins with a mandatory residency weekend each semester* followed by online classes to learn how to:

  • Recognize shifts in IT policy – nationally and internationally
  • Manage IT risk and enforce security measures
  • Analyze Big Data with highly scalable systems you design
  • Use data science to empower smart cities
  • Develop organizational strategy and resiliency through IT

The skills you’ll learn in your Executive Ph.D. in Information Technology are transferable to nearly every industry in the world. Be prepared. Fill out the form to learn more today.

*Residency & Class Attendance Policy
Full attendance to the residency weekend sessions is mandatory to receive credit. If you miss any part of the session, you will be counted absent for the entire session. No exceptions. If you miss a single class session, you must make it up at the end of the semester and be required to pay a make-up fee. Missing more than one residency session will result in dismissal from the University.
